Chinese Academy of Engineering

Academician Zhong Shizhen is the founder and pioneer of surgical anatomy in China. He has built the internationally renowned "Southern Medical University Human Specimen Exhibition Hall" and authored the world's first book "Microsurgery Anatomy".

We have provided systematic results in the anatomical application of lymphatic vein anastomosis for flap blood supply, excavation of new tissue flap supply areas, and design of new microsurgical procedures.

The editor in chief has authored multiple specialized books on microsurgery, with two English editions of "Microsurgical Anatomy" and "Clinical Microsurgical Anatomy" published in the UK (1985) and Hong Kong (1991) respectively. They are the earliest published monographs in the same field internationally and have a significant international academic influence.
