According to the statistics, a total of 414 independent reporting projects were set up for the three-day academic exchange, resulting in 418 speakers and 229 speakers, conservatively confirming coverage of at least 35 countries and regions. The Chinese team had a total of 56 speakers and 105 speaking opportunities, both ranking first among all countries and regions. Among them, Vice President Xie Shuqiang and Vice President Dong Qiqiang also actively spoke at the conference, not only allowing international peers to see Renji Hospital's solid foundation in the fields of microsurgery and limb orthopedics, but also vividly demonstrating the innovative vitality of Chinese specialized hospitals. It was also a direct projection of Renji's style on the highest academic stage - using technology as a language, winning respect with strength, and making the "Chinese solution" resound in the global dialogue.
From the introduction and localization of the Ilizarov technique to systematic innovation, China's limb reconstruction discipline has covered a development journey that took the West more than half a century, achieving a historic leap from following to keeping pace, and even leading in some fields. The names of over fifty Chinese experts have been included in the list of speakers at the conference, sharing the stage and discussing with international peers. This is the highest recognition of China's strength on the international academic stage. Every time they take the stage, the world hears China's voice; every achievement they make shows the world China's strength.
The successful opening of this conference not only established a high-level exchange platform for global scholars, but also showcased China's robust strength and open attitude in the field of limb reconstruction to the world. The repeated appearances, achievements, and exchanges of Chinese experts at this conference are vivid footnotes to China's progress in the field of limb reconstruction, from "following and catching up" to "keeping pace" and even "leading the way" in some areas.
Standing on the international stage in Kuala Lumpur, looking back on our journey and looking forward to the new journey, we have reason to believe that the Chinese strength represented by Professor Qin Sihe will continue to overcome difficulties and scale new heights, contributing more "Chinese wisdom" and "Chinese solutions" to the global limb reconstruction cause, making the voice of China's limb reconstruction more resounding on the global stage.
