The Pain Management Department is led by Director Haixia, who possesses over a decade of professional expertise in anesthesia and pain management. The team is characterized by extensive clinical experience and has conducted in-depth research and accumulated clinical expertise in the treatment of neck, shoulder, waist, and leg pain, various types of chronic pain, and anesthesia for acute and critical conditions.

II. Scope of and Treatment

The department primarily specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various acute and chronic pain disorders, covering the following areas:

1. Neuropathic Pain:** Includingpal tunnel syndrome (hand numbness and pain), trigeminal neuralgia, and postherpetic neuralgia.

2. Neck, Shoulder, Waist, and Leg Pain:** Including disc herniation (both acute and chronic phases), acute lumbar sprains, cervical spondylosis, and frozen shoulder.

3. Bone, Joint, and Soft Tissue Pain Including osteoarthritis of the knee, tenosynovitis, tennis elbow, and heel pain.

4. Other Pain Conditions:** Including advanced cancer pain and systemic pain of unknown.

III. Specialized Treatment Technologies

Adhering to the therapeutic philosophy of "prioritizing conservative treatment over minimally invasive procedures, and minimally invasive procedures over surgery," department employs the following comprehensive treatment modalities:

1. Ultrasound-Guided Minimally Invasive Therapy:** Utilizing ultrasound "visualization" technology to precisely locate lesions for minimally invasive release (.g., ultrasound-guided release for carpal tunnel syndrome) or nerve blocks, ensuring minimal trauma and rapid recovery.

2. Comprehensive Conservative Therapy:** Integrating traditional Chinese physiotherapy, pharmacological therapy, and physical therapy to alleviate acute pain, reduce nerve inflammation, and promote nerve repair.

3. Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy:** For patients do not respond to conservative treatment or present with severe conditions, interventional techniques such as ultrasound-guided nerve root blocks and minimally invasive release are employed to relieve nerve compression and alleviate refractory.
