The Department of Critical Care Medicine is characterized by its specialized focus, integrating the rescue and treatment of critically ill patients, clinical, and teaching. The department is equipped with 18 beds. It is outfitted with advanced domestic instruments: Mindray multi-parameter ECG monitors, BIS monitoring systems, end- CO2 monitoring, Mindray ventilators, Dräger ventilators, fiberoptic bronchoscopes, bedside blood filtration machines, blood gas analyzers, bedside warming and cooling devices, air purification systems,.


• Talent Team: 1 honorary director, 2 associate chief physicians, 1 postgraduate student, 4 attending physicians, 18 nursing staff, 1 chief, 10 nurses, and 7 registered nurses, among whom 6 hold bachelor's degrees and 11 hold associate degrees. It is a young and dynamic combat, as well as a team with a strong sense of collective honor.


Implemented Technologies:


• Invasive arterial pressure monitoring, bladder pressure monitoring, central venous pressure monitoring, invasive non-invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, BIS monitoring, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, bedside color Doppler ultrasound, fiberoptic bronchoscope-assisted suctioning and alveolar lavage, sedation, invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, bedside blood filtration, and other technologies.


Diagnostic and Treatment Technologies and Scope of Rescue:


1. Trauma Rescue: Emergency rescue and treatment and management of various traumatic shocks, traumatic brain injuries, spontaneous cerebral hemorrhages, combined chest and abdominal injuries, major limb amputations, and limb fractures, especially shock caused by limb amputation, coagulation dysfunction, compartment syndrome, acute renal failure, infection and infection-induced sepsis, acute lung injury caused by trauma, ARDS, flail chest, and hemneumothorax, etc.


• 2. Critical Illnesses: Various acute and critical illnesses, and organ function support for multiple organ failure.


• 3. Respiratory Diseases: For critical respiratory system diseases of various causes, an integrated diagnosis and treatment process has been formed, ranging from diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and drug treatment to the application of-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation, especially the implementation of fiberoptic bronchoscope technology.


• 4. Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases: Acute heart failure, severe arrhythmias cardiac and respiratory arrest, various types of shock, cerebral hemorrhage, and cerebral infarction;
