The Department of Emergency Medicine at Zhengzhou Renji Hospital is a model window department of the hospital. Established in April 208 (South Campus) and May 2019 (North Campus), it serves as the No. 28 and No. 59 emergency stations of thezhou Emergency Medical Rescue Center. It also previously co-established the municipal No. 40 station in collaboration with the Shibalihe Town Health Center of Zhengzhou. The department responsible for pre-hospital rescue, emergency response to medical emergencies, and medical support for large-scale events.

I. Department Scale and Layout
The department possesses a complete "-hospital emergency - emergency rescue - intensive care" system (EMSS), featuring a debridement and suturing room, operating room, rescue room, dressing room, treatment room and observation ward. It is equipped with advanced rescue equipment such as large bedside ventilators, vehicle-mounted ventilators, defibrillators, multi-parameter ECG monitors, fully automatic gastric lavage, and 12-lead ECG machines, as well as 8 ambulances and 3 emergency motorcycles.

II. Personnel Configuration
The department has a professional emergency team consisting nearly 100 medical, nursing, emergency, and driving staff. This includes 6 senior-titled physicians, 12 intermediate-titled physicians, 18 juniortitled physicians, 4 chief nurses, 21 nurses, 20 registered nurses, and 16 drivers.

The department excels in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma emergencies, multiple injuries, and complex injuries, demonstrating significant advantages particularly in limb trauma, replantation of severed limbs (fingers and tissue flap transplantation and repair for wound defects.
